UDC Plaza Deck Renovation

The project entailed the renovation of the University’s Plaza Deck and the main parking garage of the Van Ness Campus. The 92,000-s.f. Plaza Deck is located directly above an underground, 3-level, parking garage. The construction of the Plaza Deck included landscaping and hardscaping to provide an inviting, handicap-accessible, pedestrian environment including a café area, seat walls, LED pedestrian lighting, a new water fountain with sculpture, architectural stonework, and other decorative architectural features.  The garage renovation included an automated garage gate, heated entrance and exit ramps, security cameras, upgrades to the ventilation system and repairs to pathways and driveways. Also included were demolition, grading, drainage upgrades, erosion control, signs, pavement marking, and lighting.
